Savannah's Forsyth Park fountain
  • Forsyth Park - One of Savannah's 24 tree-shaded open space "squares." With hints of French influence in the city's design and architecture, the squares were part of the original colonial City Plan and still serve as a picturesque backdrop for Savannah's rich colonial history. The park's fountain is regarded as a copy of the one in the Place de la Concorde, in Paris France. Pedaling a bicycle in the city's squares is prohibited. Bull Street and E. Park Avenue

  • Daffin Park – Home to the local Sand Gnats baseball team. Great for a picnic lunch and Movies In The Park during the summer. Bull Street to E. Victory Drive


  • Wormsloe Historic Site - Pedal out to the Isle of Hope and then along Oak Avenue, a 1-1/2 mile stretch of road lined with more than 400 Oak trees that leads to the Wormsloe Historic Site.   • bonaventure cemetery Bonaventure Cemetery - Pedal through a combination of historic landscaping, architecture, and mystique that lend to an intimate bicycle tour through this plot of land featured in the highly acclaimed Clint Eastwood movie Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil. Like the Wormsloe Historic Site, this plot of land was once a plantation. It's said that the Southern Gothic and more Victorian tombs significantly reflect the region's changing perspectives on death and dying. As writers and poets romanticized death in the Victorian era, cemeteries such as Bonaventure became lush gardens or beautiful cities of the dead.   • Mercer Williams House - Johnny Mercer's great grandfather was Confederate General Hugh Weedon Mercer. The general started to build the now famous Mercer House on Bull Street, but he never finished construction. The next owner, Jim Williams, finished the house and was eventually tried for murder.   • River Street - Walk your bike along this cobblestone thoroughfare lined with restaurants, pubs, hotels, boutique shops, and plenty of nightlife. The architecture has been restored to reflect Savannah's southern charm. Take in First Saturdays. Once a month locals and tourists are treated to a night of arts and crafts and dazzling fireworks. Great for kids!
